Goodness me, it’s been a busy month! I got married at the begging of September to my best friend. We had this wonderfully rainbow wedding and despite all the stress right up until I put my dress on, it was absolute magic. I feel so fortunate to have such a supportive family and in-laws all coming together to help make our day special.

And if getting married wasn’t enough, I also released a new book in September! My new novel, Mo(ther) Na(ture), has been a long time coming. We’ve spent years not talking, as absolute enemies. But when we’re talking and working together, sparks fly and it’s incredible. She’s my last stand alone for a while (I say stand alone but there could always be more later).
I signed a contract with the incredibly talented Sarah Kisko for the audible book. It should be coming out in late October. She’s going to bring Mona to life and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Mona is poised to delete Earth. Can human’s capacity for love persuade her otherwise? Mo(ther) Na(ture) is a YA GameLit coming-of-age story that explores sisterly bonds and the human capacity for love. Fans of Sophie Kinsella and Rainbow Rowell will love this heartwarming story about sisterhood, love, and what it means to be human.

I’ve recently given a little face lift to the digital copy of my novel, From A Youth A Fountain Did Flow. While the paperback will stay the same, the digital copy has a different feel. I think that’s something we don’t always talk a lot about as indie authors, the hit and miss of publishing. You’re never really sure you’ve hit the mark on something like a cover or if it’s an advertising thing. The reviews are wonderful and she’s won an award as well. But is the cover eye catching enough? Does it sell the what lies in wait? Tell me what you think of this new one, I’m always looking for feedback!
Speaking of feedback, I’ve recently ventured to booksprout. So if you’re interested in a review copy in exchange for an honest review, you can find me there!
Lastly, on October 7th & 8th I’ll be at Geek Girl Con in Seattle! I’ll be at the Rainbow Quartz Publishing booth with fellow authors, Jackson Anhalt and Helen M. Sanders for what should be a really fun weekend. If you’re in the area, come by and say hi! We’ll be selling some books, telling jokes, and hopefully signing a few books.
