I’ve been working diligently on a number of projects lately. Maybe you’ve heard about them from the Rainbow Quartz website, or perhaps you caught my latest newsletter. I’m really going to attempt to send them more regularly. You can sign up on my homepage if you’d like to know about events any of the RQ authors will be at, new titles, and, of course, my own books.
Speaking of my books (did you see what I did there?), the first of the Mythiverse books went to audiobook this month, and I’m jumping for joy. The narrator has a Jim Dale vibe, and I couldn’t be more excited. Be sure to check out Adopted by Werewolves. Auditions are coming in for the next Mythiverse book to go to Audible, and I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s ready.

In other news, I’m nearly done with the first draft of the next Mythiverse book. There are ghosties, and I have to say, it’s super cute. If you don’t know, I’m a developmental editor as well as a line editor for RQ authors. This is one of my favorite things to do: helping a struggling story shine as brightly as it can. I’ve been working on edits for Jax Wilder’s newest books. She has another in the Coral Cove series and a new one that’s a bit spookier and equally spicy. In other drafting news, my secret project of 2024 is coming along, and I look forward to the day when I can speak freely about it.
Oh, and Lorelai Hamilton’s Tarot book is out. The book about Tarot that I’ve been working on for the last five-plus years is finally out! But Miranda, why publish under a different name for your tarot stuff? Because it’s better to keep them separate as they typically have different audiences. I don’t know that everyone who wants to learn about tarot will also enjoy science fiction and fantasy books, and vice versa. But I’m so proud of this book, and I hope you’ll share it with others.

While events for this year are still being scheduled, I’ve secured a spot at the Jefferson County Fair in Port Townsend in August. We’ll be attending the Authors of the Northwest Book Fair in November. In between those dates are a handful of small events and some applications for larger ones. If you know of a book event in your area, send me a note about it!
In other news, here is a picture of Hamilton crawling out of my husband’s shirt.
