The books are off to beta readers and I’m starting to get some feedback rolling in! It’s pretty exciting and still super nerve wrecking. One of my Beta’s was telling me she’s half way through the book. Of course I was like… so… how is it???? I don’t even know that I want to know just yet. Like rip the band-aid and give me all the news at once.

In the meanwhile I’ve been dealing with a nasty bout of sciatica. It’s worse then breaking a bone, and I’ve broken my fair share. Miserable. I’m hoping that I’m on the upswing to recovery. Damn nerves.

On the other hand it has given me plenty of time to think about some new artistic outlets including a comic. I’ve never written one in my life. That being said I think I’m going to give it a shot. Some of you know better then others, I have artistic background. I’ve been a painter for years. I’m excited to be delving into the world of digital drawing. I’ve been looking at programs and learning how to use the one I’ve picked. I’m excited to be branching out with my art in new ways.
