Just kidding. Well not about how great the book was. Which it was truly fantastic. What I love about Stephanie Perkins could fill a book. Her writing style is so unique, I know instantly it’s her voice, her words, her story. I love how wherever the book takes place, feels like character in the story. I love how everything happens in real time, like real life. Of the three books in this series (Anna and The French Kiss & Lola and The Boy Next Door) this was the one I personally related to the most. I loved them all for so many reasons, but this was unrequited love and then a lesson on loving yourself. Something I know a lot of us struggle with. I’m no stranger to folly’s of believing you’re not worth someone’s love. It’s a hard lesson and it’s Isla’s lesson.
