My new book came out last week! It’s one of those things that’s been years in the making. I can honestly say, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever written, and I’m incredibly proud of this story.
As most of you know, I’ve been writing my whole life. My first completed story was a retelling of Cinderella at the ripe old age of 8. It was a defining moment. I remember telling anyone who would listen that I was going to be a writer and illustrator when I grew up. Little did I know 30 years later, I would actually be a writer and an artist.
I have lofty goals of writing children’s books in addition to the adult and YA novels I have on my plate. Books have inspired my whole life, and I want nothing more than to be able to give that gift to others.
My new novel, From A Youth A Fountain Did Flow, is my first foray into young adult fiction. It’s dark with witches and demons and a war as old as time. There is body possession, reincarnation, and what it might be like if a young girl was the fountain of youth personified. But it also captures what it’s like to be young in a world you can’t control. It is about first loves and, more than that, what it means to love yourself.

April 6th-9th, I’ll be at NORWESCON promoting my novels and my tarot deck! I’m over the moon to be at my first con as an author. I’m nervous but I think I’ve got all my boxes checked. I have books to sell, both A Tear In Time and From A Youth A Fountain Did Flow. I do have a handful of copies of my poetry collection as well. Oh, and I ordered these amazing bookmarks to give away. I’ve never ordered bookmarks before, and it was fun designing them. They look fantastic. A bright yellow which is one of my current favorite colors.

I hope that if you’re in the SeaTac area that weekend, you’ll come out and say hi in person! If you tell me you’re a follower of my blog, I’ll give you a $5 discount on any book purchase!
